Carroll County Commissioner Candidate Michael Zimmer (District 5)

In favor of the waste-to-energy incinerator

"I support the process moving forward, and I voted to move the process forward."

Simply type Zimmer into the search box at the top right to read numerous e-mails that have been sent to Michael Zimmer, as well as his responses.

Zimmer voted for the incinerator and hopes to move it forward if re-elected. He also wrote a letter to the editor of the Frederick News-Post, in which he failed to mention how expensive this project will be. There's nothing "fresh" to consider regarding the financial impact facility will have. For years many of us have known that AFTER the electricity revenue is considered, the property owners of Mont. Co. subsidize that trash incinerator by $30-$35,000,000 per year. There is nothing to suggest that Frederick and Carroll Counties won't have to do the same.
