How Can You Stop the Incinerator?
1. Vote on Nov. 2 for these 4 candidates:
Ellis Burruss, Kai Hagen, Linda Norris, Janice Wiles
To kill the incinerator, we MUST vote for the candidates above, who have pledged to cancel the contract, in the 2010 general election (November 2)! In the primary election on Sept. 14, we had a low turnout of voters and in some cases there were close calls. YOUR VOTE COUNTS!
2. Donate today!
Donations* will pay for doorhangers, and newpaper and radio ads. Make checks payable to No Incinerator PAC and send to our treasurer: Michael Elmaleh, 12529 Molasses Road, Union Bridge, MD 21791.
3. Volunteer Your Time
- Help us outside the polls on Nov. 2.
- Distribute a doorhanger in your neighborhood.
- Talk to at least 1 person today (neighbor, e-mail list, grocery store, place of worship) about the incinerator. Many are still unaware of it or don't know there's anything that can still be done to stop it.
- Display a window sign.
- Request a No Incinerator sign for your yard.
- "Friend" or "like" these candidates and "share" their info on Facebook and Twitter. Consider supporting them with a donation or your time. New to Facebook and Twitter? Contact us for technical help.
- Share pages from our website via e-mail, Facebook, Twitter or other form of social media by clicking the "share" button on any page. Contact us for technical help.
- E-mail you neighborhood if you have an e-mail list.
- Stay udpated!
